I cannot express how much I LOVE fall....the cool air, the pumpkin-flavored "everything" (especially Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte!) and just how wonderful living in the south is during the season of fall. Of course I happen to live in Vol country, yet I tend to be the black sheep among our friends due to the fact I am a die-hard Ohio State Buckeye fan. Go Bucks! I am the type that likes the "fun" aka dressing up, dinner and commrodory of football games, but I couldn't tell you a whole lot about the game of football. My grandfather is probably rolling over in his grave right about now ;-)
Ok...enough about fall....onto catching up. Hadley and I went out to Arkansas a few weeks ago to visit my daddy. We had a fun time and took a trip to the Memphis Zoo and had lunch at Rendezvous. Yum-o! Here are a few pics from our trip out there:

| Little Miss Priss |

| She loved going to the zoo- as we went to different exhibits, she made all the animal noises! :-) |
Memphis is a really neat city. The homes over near the zoo were incredible-wish I had time to have snapped some pics. We enjoyed our first trip to Rendezvous. I indulged in the BBQ nachos and Hadley had the famous cheese sandwich ;-) All my pictures from the restaurant were blurry :(
Hadley and I have tried to stay cool most of the summer- just too darn hot to be outside for too long. Our pool days are coming to an end, but there is so much to look forward to with the impending, fabulous, fall season ahead!

| Miss Sassafras was pretty spunky after her nap |
 |
| My homemade salsa that I was unbelievably proud of! |
 |
| My other summer culinary go-to: foccacia bread from a local bakery with fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and fresh mozerella...oh so gooood |
That's all folks! :-)
